About Akorede Adekunle.
Software engineer, frontend architect, product builder, and founder. Known in the developer community as AKDebug.
The Journey Behind the Code
My engineering journey began in 2019 when my brother recognized my natural analytical and problem-solving instincts. Coming from a background where access to structured resources was scarce, I made a disciplined personal commitment: every Saturday, I would commute to tech meetups at GDG Ikorodu, investing in courses, books, and countless hours debugging code.
Over the past 4+ years, that dedication evolved into professional software engineering. I have built and contributed to scalable web applications across digital payments and escrow flows (AZCPAY), mental health telehealth (Serynity), digital publishing (TabNovel), and reverse marketplaces (Baivas).
I don't simply write components; I think like a product builder. When I faced the reality of disorganized examination revision on university campus, I founded BrainBash to give students structured practice modules with offline-ready timers. When African developers struggled to find verified Nigerian bank routing codes and 774 LGA datasets, I engineered the UpraiserTech platform, serving sub-20ms Edge-cached APIs.
“A clean interface is meaningless if the underlying state machine is fragile. Build with accessible semantic HTML, handle network errors gracefully, optimize queries at the edge, and write code that your teammates will enjoy maintaining.”
